There are so many options for wedding favors for friends and family attending your ceremony and reception. You may want to give your guests, place card holder picture frames, or perhaps a cute little novelty favor for whatever theme you’re having, or you can choose from lots more great ideas for your friends and family. I chose to go with candle wedding favors because they are very decorative, and you can get a lot of use out of a gift like that. With the decorative favor boxes I found online, I also wanted to attached personalized hang tags on each gift.
I added some candles weddings to every reception table to add to the ambiance of the wedding. The wedding decorations with the candles and fantastic centerpieces made a great combination for my reception tables. I bought a complete five piece wedding set which has a wedding guestbook and matching pen set, flower basket, ring pillow and a very nice wedding garter. We saved a little money by being able to get so many of our accessories in a set like that at such a low cost. Our wedding cake topper was really spectacular and it didn’t cost near as much as we expected a customized cake topper would cost. Our guests got a real kick out of our cake topper because the bride and groom looked just like us. All I had to do was send them a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they did the rest. The wedding cake itself was pretty magnificent too, with three tiers of chocolate perfection and gorgeous red and and pink flowers all around it. The calla lily cake serving set was one that I just absolutely went nuts over and it just looked so delicate lying next to our beautiful cake.
The crystal flutes we got for our friends and family were for them to keep and we ordered special bride and groom flutes for our bridal table. We have no use for 200 champagne glasses, so why not let our friends and family have them as keepsakes? With our guestbook with all the signatures, our gorgeous picture album, our very unique wedding cake topper and so much more, we really didn’t need much else for keepsakes. One of the items in our five piece wedding set was the claret colored wedding guestbook with guest sign in pages, a place to list the gifts we received and a special spot for those little momentos. I think the guest book is important, not only to have everyones’ name that attended, but for later use when you are filling out thank you notes. You don’t want to say, ‘thank you for your gift’, when you could mention the item they bought for you, so they know you care.
I guess most of our guests really like the unique candle wedding favors we chose for their thank you gifts, some of them expressed their appreciation. Looks like a made a wise choice in wedding favors. Everyone also told me what a great time they were having at the reception, and as we were leaving they all gave us their best wishes for a happy life. This day in my life, I will always remember and cherish.
